The Stop Line Way

The Stop Line Way, Ilminster, TA19

The Stop Line Way is a long distance coast-to-coast walking and cycling route which in parts is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. The cycle route is 75 miles long and partly follows the ‘Taunton Stop Line’ built by the Army in 1940 to contain any Nazi German invasion of the South West.

The Warehouse Theatre is owned and run by Ilminster Entertainments Society and is a fully equipped 150 seat theatre with a raked auditorium. As well as six in-house productions a year the theatre hosts groups and artists from the local area.
