Overview
Fascinating gardens with a Grade 1 listed medieval priory backdrop. A mix of classic and modern features, including a ‘hot’ herbaceous border, sub-tropical walk, a blue garden and a winter garden. Home to Somerset’s only botanical glasshouse featuring species from around the world such as the magnificent jade vine (Strongylodon macrobotrys). Specialist plant nursery. Gift shop. Tearoom.
Specialist plant nursery offering a large selection of herbaceous perennials, shrubs, trees, herbs, succulents and house plants at very competitive prices. All plants are grown on site by staff, students and volunteers and sold at great prices!
Open Tuesday to Sunday at 10am, year-round except two weeks at Christmas. Closing times vary depending on season. Please check website.
Please note, entry to the Plant Sales, Tea Room and Gift Shop is free and does not require purchasing an entrance fee to the gardens.
